She is a "Platinum Label" doll, which means there were less than 1,000 of this doll made Worldwide which makes them very valuable. This doll was designed by Robert Best and released in 2005. The Violette Silkstone Barbie Doll joined the "Barbie Fashion Model Collection" dressed for a stylish ball.

She wears a gown made of printed silk organza over a satin underdress and tulle petticoat with lilac taffeta trim. It's a springtime vision of the ultimate romantic, retro ball gown and finished with violets in her hair.

Her gown was designed especially for the Silkstone Barbie Doll body. This Barbie Doll is brand new and in mint condition and has never been removed from her box. The box is also in mint condition with no visible flaws. She will also come in her original packing box.
