2008 Mattel - National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention (NBDCC), Joie de Vivre, Platinum Label, Barbie Doll. This Barbie is African-American with dark brown hair and blue eyes. There were only 280 African-American dolls produced for the Convention, and this is #212 out of 280. Barbie mimics Audrey Hepburn in the film Funny Face as she walks down the stairs in her red gown and red chiffon scarf.

Doll comes with doll stand and Certificate of Authenticity. Box is signed on the back by the artists, Marirosa and Robert Best. Doll includes two sketches by Robert Best - the caucasian and the African-American versions.

Item has never been removed from cardboard, but the box is not sealed and was opened for photos. There is a defect on the corner of the plastic cover on the left front, as well as some small dents and defects on the outer box.
